Creating economy of scale

As in any business, in logistics, economies of scale are achieved by being able to obtain optimum production levels and improve costs per unit produced.

In order to analyze the phenomenon of economies of scale, we generally consider the relationship between production increases (peaks) for a group of clients and decreases (valleys) for others.
Business concentration, in this case concentrating clients in a single building or logistics complex, enables us to share resources and thus achieve these economies of scale.

FCC Logística has implemented a business model based on sector-specific hubs for multi-client operations, with the resulting space savings, personnel synergies and multi-client deliveries to the final consignee. This makes it possible to obtain economies of scale, which are reflected in costs and therefore shared with our clients.
