FCC Logística opens new installations in Valencia.

FCC Logística, a Spanish company belonging to the Grupo Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas, has transferred the activities that were performed at its Sollana platform to the town of Riba-Roja del Turia on the Masía de Balo Industrial Estate.

From this platform, which covers 6,500 square metres, has 9 metres of free height and 12 covered loading docks, FCC Logística will arry out the distribution to the provinces of Valencia, Castellón, Albacete and Teruel.
The reason for the change of premises is a consequence of the company modernising its infrastructures as well as the improved location for distributing goods to the Valencian capital.
Likewise, the new centre is located alongside the A-3 motorway in an outstanding industrial area with major logistics activity and barely a few minutes from the airport of Manises. The new installations are manned by a staff of 40 (direct and indirect).
As indicated by sources within the company, “In changing these premises, we have sought to improve the location for distributing our products towards Valencia, as well as maintaining our strategy of improving our platforms so as to provide a better service to our customers with high quality and effectiveness”.
